Economist · Data Analyst · Data Engineer Available for work
I build data systems that turn raw information into decisions.
I'm Emilio, an economist working in data. For the past two years I've built KPI systems, reports and automations for one of Argentina's largest consumer-goods companies, using Python, SQL, Power BI and advanced Excel. That mix lets me work both sides: engineering the data, building attractive and informative reports, and reading it as an economic or financial analyst would. Plus an unusual extra: a designer's eye for how results are presented.
01 — Projects
Selected work, written up as case studies.
02 — How I approach projects
Three principles behind everything I ship.
Understand
I come from economics, so I start with the business question: who needs this data, what decision it supports, and what success looks like. Most data problems are actually definition problems.
Design to scale
I build the simplest solution that works today without creating problems for tomorrow: with clear data models, idempotent pipelines, and documentation that others can actually use.
Keep learning
I keep expanding both my technical and communication skills. Economics taught me to reason about decisions; Power BI, SQL, Python, and data engineering taught me how to build systems; design and marketing sharpen how I explain and present complex work.
